  • Check it out! The Washington Post has an article on raw milk, and it's quite positive. In fact, as my dad, who menitioned it to me, said, it makes the people at the FDA look quite foolish. Sally Fallon is, of course, interviewed and the whole tone of the article is very open, without being extremist. Great publicity for raw milk!

Also, I've been getting "Country Home" magazine, and the editor there describes a visit to the dairy with her grandaughter and mentions that they have been drinking raw milk. Is it a trend? I certainly hope so.

These sites are great to use to teach your children that the Lord created lovely colors built in!

  • Danielle,

Thanks for the link!! It was very fair. The comments from the FDA looked ridiculous. They're so intent on banning something that might possibly make someone sick once in a blue moon!!

  • Hi Danielle,

I just go to the website, highlight the link, hit control C, then go to the comment box and hit control V

that is the easy way to copy and paste anything.

  • Hey, Danielle, thanks for your comment! I'm just getting caught up with things after our weekend away!! I think I might just agree with you on the soda... maybe it should be considered a low-grade poison!

  • The artical about milk was interesting and well written. It would be great to have raw milk come back again.

  • Thanks for the link.

Hope all is going well. Have a good day!

  • You commented a few posts back about the baby looking low...I was carrying much higher in July and August. She has definitely dropped! I've been so much more comfortable since she flipped to head-down instead of breech and dropped lower. Now she's even lower than in the lowercase B picture...I need to take a couple more belly pics before I go into labor! My shape is really different now.

  • MOMSIXROSES.....my salvation post....ryc

what's the difference between raw milk and store milk...i always wondered about that since im a city girl.

  • RYC: I know, I didn't know what wellies were till I came here!! Now I use them all the time!

Another difference is that weather is much less changeable and easier to predict in the US. When clouds come in America, generally it rains right away. When it's done raining, the clouds go away. Then it's sunny for a good while. Whereas here I had to get used to the fact that clouds don't always mean rain, and there are different levels of clouds (Tim can tell which colors and heights mean rain; I can't yet!!). And if it's lovely and sunny, it still might rain 5 minutes later!! :)

  • Um, I mean the kids use them all the time. ;)

  • Hi,  No I haven't seen it yet, though a friend has a copy.

  • ah, wellies. i need to get some this year...

no, we wouldn't usually use a nursery either. i've just been asked to help out as i don't do anything i almost wish i didn't, just to save g from sickness all the time. but i guess she does get to play with other babies, so it's a trade off.

  • Yeah, that's what I noticed here too: warmth even in summer is very dependent on the sun. Clouds cool down things a lot!

    Sooo... any news from Dublin????

  • Where does one even get raw milk??
